FiGie Terms of Use

These Terms explain the responsibilities, limitations and controls that apply when you use FiGie.

1. Agreement and ownership

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Propel Path LLC ("we," "us" or "our"), the operator of FiGie. They apply to the FiGie mobile application, website and related services.

By creating an account, accessing or using FiGie, you agree to these Terms and the FiGie Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms in your location. FiGie is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires parental or guardian consent for a minor to use an online service, that consent is required.

3. General wellness information—not medical advice

FiGie provides general educational wellness information, not medical advice. It does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, recommend insulin or medication changes, or predict an individual’s glucose response. Always check with a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about diabetes care, medication, insulin or significant dietary changes.

Do not use FiGie for an emergency. Contact local emergency services or an appropriate healthcare professional if you need urgent assistance.

4. Food recognition, estimates and evidence

FiGie keeps food recognition distinct from evidence validation. AI-assisted recognition, portion estimates, calories, nutrient values, glycemic-index information, glucose-impact classifications and evidence matching may be incomplete, unavailable or incorrect. Packaging, recipes, preparation, serving size and individual biology can materially change a result.

You are responsible for reviewing and confirming identified foods and portions before relying on an insight. Labels such as “estimated,” “derived,” “reference” or “evidence-backed” describe how a result was produced; they do not make it a measurement of your body or a personalized prediction.

5. Accounts and security

You are responsible for protecting access to your device and account and for activity performed through an authorized session. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or device session has been compromised.

You may sign out, export account data and initiate account deletion through Account controls. Some records may be retained where reasonably required by law, security, fraud prevention or dispute resolution, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of meal photos, text and other content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, reproduce, format and process that content only as needed to provide, secure and support FiGie and to comply with law.

Do not submit photos containing people, private documents or unrelated sensitive information. We do not use optional cloud meal-photo copies for model training or routine support review.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use FiGie to harm, harass, deceive or violate another person’s rights;
  • upload unlawful, infringing, malicious or unrelated content;
  • attempt to bypass authentication, quotas, safety controls or service limits;
  • probe, disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service, except where law expressly permits;
  • use automated means to scrape the service or evidence records without written permission; or
  • present FiGie outputs as a clinical diagnosis, measured glucose response or professional medical advice.

8. Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases are subject to the terms, billing rules and refund processes presented when you complete a transaction. Available plans, pricing, renewal periods and trial terms are shown before purchase. Restore Purchases checks eligible transactions; it does not create an entitlement that was not purchased.

9. Privacy

The FiGie Privacy Policy describes data processing, optional photo storage, retention and your choices.

10. FiGie intellectual property

FiGie, its software, interface, branding, evidence composition and related materials are owned by Propel Path LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

11. Changes, availability and disclaimers

We may change, suspend or discontinue features, evidence sources or service limits. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every food, package, region or evidence question will be supported.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FiGie is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

12. Suspension, termination and changes

You may stop using FiGie, sign out or initiate account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violation of these Terms, security risk, unlawful use or where required by law.

We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide appropriate notice.
