1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the FiGie mobile application, the FiGie website and related services. FiGie is operated by Propel Path LLC, which is responsible for the processing described here.
2. Information we process
Account information
We process account identifiers and authentication information needed to create and protect an account and synchronize authorized sessions.
Food and wellness content
We process meal photos or text you submit, recognized and confirmed foods, portions, meal date and time, nutrition estimates, evidence results, questions you ask and entries you choose to save in your Food Library.
Technical and support information
We process limited diagnostic, security and support information needed to keep FiGie reliable, prevent misuse and respond to requests. We do not use this information for advertising.
Website communications
If you contact us through a FiGie form, we receive the name, organization, email address and message you provide, together with basic security and delivery information needed to operate the form.
3. Food photos and AI processing
A photo selected for recognition is analyzed so FiGie can identify possible foods. Recognition is followed by user confirmation and separate evidence matching. Results can be incomplete or incorrect, which is why confirmation is required.
We do not use optional cloud photo copies for model training or routine support review.
4. How we use information
- authenticate you, protect sessions and prevent misuse;
- recognize and confirm foods, calculate estimates and match evidence;
- save, sync, edit and delete Food Library entries you control;
- provide optional cloud meal-photo storage when you consent;
- restore purchases and maintain eligible entitlements;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve service reliability;
- respond to support, privacy or account requests; and
- meet legal, security and record-keeping obligations.
5. Retention
- Optional cloud meal photos: up to 30 days, unless you delete them sooner.
- Structured Food Library data: while your account or entry remains active, until you delete it or request account deletion.
- Operational recognition telemetry: generally no more than 30 days.
- Security and audit records: only as reasonably needed for integrity, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal obligations.
- Website enquiries: for as long as needed to respond and maintain appropriate business records.
6. Your choices and rights
Account controls let you manage optional cloud photo storage, delete cloud photo copies, sign out, export account data and initiate account deletion. Deleting a Food Library entry removes its associated cloud photo.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
To make a request, use the controls in the app or email privacy@figie.app.
7. Security, children and international processing
We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
FiGie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13.
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as FiGie or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel.
